Morgan Kadric is living out her dream of raising a family in Idaho and creating bilingual books with original artwork. 

Morgan's passion for other languages and cultures is longstanding; she grew up in a very diverse area near Chicago, studied abroad in Spain, and married a Bosnian refugee. Out of love for her bilingual child (and a desire to better communicate with her non-English speaking in-laws), she started translating books into Bosnian with a Sharpie. This sparked the decision to create and illustrate her own books. 

Morgan started Alderwood Publishing LLC in 2022 after leaving an Operations Leadership role in Corporate America. Morgan holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (go Illini!). Her newest book series, Teach Me! Language Basics, provides word & picture associations to help new language learners retain knowledge more effectively. 

Morgan believes every culture deserves access to books in their language, representing their culture with integrity.  Her goal is to provide books that people take pride in. She hopes you enjoy reading her books as much as she enjoyed creating them!
